Michelle Smith

Michelle has over 20 years experience in Palliative care and Oncology.

She has held Senior positions within large organisations including Director of Services and Lead Mobile Cancer Information Specialist, Engagement and Volunteering Manager for South West England and The Channel Islands.

Michelle also has specialist experience of Community Engagement, Service User Involvement and Peer Support.

Michelle is now using her experience and skillset in nursing, coaching, mentoring, debriefing, facilitation and senior leadership to head up the varied loss, grief and bereavement services now offered.

Supporting Team

Michelle is supported by a delivery team of palliative care nurses, information and support experts and those with lived experience to bring sessions to a wider audience.

Volunteers

The bereavement support groups are supported by volunteers who have experience of working with those in both pre and post bereavement phases.
