Workplace Support and Training

Trading as Empower Workplace Solutions, we work alongside organisations to strengthen staff satisfaction and retention by supporting members of the workforce experiencing pre and post bereavement.

The majority of work is designed to be a bespoke fit for your organisational needs but to help you think about what might be useful, we deliver the following:

WORKSHOPS FOR THOSE WITH LINE MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITY

  • Understanding loss, pre and post bereavement in the workplace.

  • Managing emotional support conversations in the workplace.

  • Supportive leadership for your workforce when a colleague is terminally ill or has died

  • Supporting and retaining the carers in your workforce

WORKSHOPS FOR ALL STAFF

  • Cancer Awareness Day.

  • Setting up a workplace peer support group

LEADERSHIP COACHING

Individual support for leaders and middle managers who would like additional support whilst growing their confidence in embedding an empathetic approach to their practice.

ONGOING SUPPORT

You can book a specialist for 1 full day per month.

2 retainer packages are available:

  • Whole organisation support to offer a space to discuss their personal loss experience on a 121 basis.

  • Management and HR package offering a protected space to discuss their approach to delivering emotional support or discuss more complex situations on a 121 basis.

6, 9 and 12 month packages are available offering a more sustained approach to delivering best practice in supporting staff emotionally.

BEREAVEMENT POLICY / GUIDANCE

Using proven engagement methodology, we work with you and your teams to understand and co-produce a bereavement policy or guidance that will work for your organisation.

GROW YOUR OWN IN HOUSE RESOURCE

Enrol members of your team onto our Workplace Champion Scheme and keep emotional support on the agenda.
